So I went on a small test with the rack. Got some issues. And I went fixing.
Also, continuing the delayed posts (and not giving a damn).
Forgot to mention the reason why I was cutting the slots without the hobby knife hitting bottom.
And on goes the build.
Cue the latest pic.
I changed the following on the rack so far:
- Re-did one of the cable holders to run single and larger – Holding a 6 ft. cable is different than a 3 ft. cable… /[Captain Obvious]
- And then I added back the second ring because stability problems (again).
- Gave the other cable holder a bigger footing, moving it up a little, and adding some plastic epoxy (and being dubious of its effectiveness together with the tape adhesive.
- Reinforced a part of the battery well as well as the bottom tray walls with MOAR tape. (typo intended)
Now I just need to wait for the battery pack to arrive before I can finish this prototype…
Just where are they shipping it from that they need a whole month to arrive??? Okay, the battery arrived on the day this post’s going live. More in a day or so…
